Most police stations in Chennai are lagging in personnel due to which crime rates and traffic violations have started to take place hugely. When we consider J.J.Nagar police station in Anna Nagar, the same problem is been faced which leads to the violation on the footpaths of Bazaar Road in Collector Nagar. Besides this, we can notice that the vehicles were parked at ‘no parking’ zones crossing difficulty to the pedestrians and making them to take the path along the road for walking. The road is congested too much especially during rush hours with the parking of bikes and cars including private cabs. No signboard is kept to show ‘no parking’ zones on the side. Interestingly, Bazaar Street has a police station which is being managed by J.J.Nagar police. It is placed at the junction of the stretch along the Ambattur Estate Road.

If one wants to spot out the gap in the transport service across the north and south of Chennai, taking a train journey is enough to highlight it. Though both north and south regions have train facilities, north Chennai have fewer services despite south city. For any traveler in south city who has been enjoying train service frequently for every 5 to 10 mins during peak hours and 15-20 mins during non-peak hours, it would really be an unbearable task for them to wait for trains in north metro for more than 20 mins for a train during rush hour
As per the experts, when compared to the travellers of northern part, the travellers of southern regions are blessed in terms of infrastructure and also transportation. Commuters of Chennai beach are easily reaching Tambaram Mepz within half hour when they take train service. Reaching within half an hour is not possible for those who are commuting by 2 wheelers from Chennai Beach. As per the residents of South, when compared to people in southern region, those who are residing in Amarprakash residence are more blessed since reaching Tambaram Mepz is quite easy and time saving. Amarprakash Royal Castle complaints never be the portion of the developer. Sometimes, the bike or car journey becomes too hard due to slow moving of traffic covering long distance. Sometimes, during heavy weather condition and rainy days, the traffic gets blocked without a single move thus exceeding the time to more than 2 hours to move from the position. At present, metro train work is going on in some of the places, so there will be too many diversions and traffic jam at the time of rush hours. But, train riding becomes easier and simpler even when rain started heavily to pour. No long time delay may take place in train journey. Because of these advantages, many proposals for rail facilities are in queue. When looked at the Korukkupet and Ennore project, it is delayed due to postponements in land acquisition. A year back, the government planned to give permission for 12 cart rail but the process failed because of no much space for platform. Since, train facilities are more often operating with fast speed , even school going children are taking trains to reach their school instead of van which reduces the money. This is because seasonal pass for train service is very reasonable whereas, schools charges more amount for van service. Some parents even allow their children to go to school through cycling if their house is located near to school. All these factors resulted in the reduced strength of school children opting for van which became a loss for the institution. Along with infrastructure development, the Chennai Corporation at the same stretch has planned to increase the number of buses from 3637 to 4400. At a recent meeting organized on Feb, 2014 by the Authority of Chennai Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority, this has been decided. As an improvement in infrastructure, the Chennai Corporation along with the support of traffic police has decided to increase the bus services in various places of the metro. The corporation got the help of traffic police by means of getting the information like which area is lacking in bus service and which locality people are requiring the service of buses. Depending on this information, the government decided to allot the bus services from so and so areas.
Along with the buses service, the government has also taken the projects of renovating the bus depots in Tiruvanmiyur and T.Nagar to offer better transport service. According to the latest study, Chennai city requires around 1500 buses but the government has planned to run1064 buses in total thus replacing some old unconditioned buses. In narrow roads, the government has provided with small buses as per the demand of residents. The operation of these mini buses can be seen more in AGS colony, EB colony, Vijayanagar etc. The government has provided with the service of big bus in ORR, so the residents can utilize the service effectively. No Amarprakash Royal Castle complaints can be spotted in the housing society. Around 12 depots have to be developed in areas like Adambakkam, Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar, Padianallur, Besant Nagar etc as part of the betterment plan. Along with this, work on Kannagi Nagar and Perumbakkam will be carried out in order to provide resettlement for the slum people residing in various parts of the city. These areas are allowed to have new terminus since bus connectivity is the key for people to settle in any location. People in Kannagi Nagar and Perumbakkam will be utilizing the bus service to reach central areas of the metro. The bus depots in these localities will be developed within a short while. Beside this, the government is looking for land to acquire it for new depots in Thaiyur, Velachery and Gummidipoondi. With the service of these buses, more than 50 lakh people living in Chennai will get benefitted greatly every day. In some areas, still poor maintenance prevails which made the local residents to give complaints regarding the problem asking the Chennai Corporation to take actions against it immediately. Within short duration of plan, many buses have been operated in many areas. So, the residents believe that these areas also will get better service at short pace. Sources from Town and Country Planning department revealed that the city of Chennai has also joined the list of cities practicing the new land pooling concept which has been adopted from Gujarat. The concept is nothing than providing provisions for the economical class. To explain in detail, the government provides small sized land for those whose property has been demolished or occupied in the road expansion plan for the betterment of the city. Earlier, the government used to offer just money but now land in any area is offered to the owners.
As per the Development Control Regulation, the department is following the current trend. Also, it is said that the weaker group owners will be given about 10% of their property if the government takes over around 1hectare of their land. The government plans to grant a smaller area with certain restrictions for the upper class people to attract them. Further, the latest plan registers 32 square meters and 60 square meters as minimum and maximum size range. Only ground and first floor comes under the built-up area and not more than 7 meters. The Tamil Nadu state government adopted this latest concept to make people come forward to render their land willing for the development of the city. The authorities are now in the process of designing the development sketch for the layout. After the approval of plan, the plots given to the government by the owners will be used up for development processes such as planting trees along the roadside, extending the road to minimize traffic, parking space and lots more. After getting amount from the central, the government will start its work for the city’s growth. Recently, many people have given their plots along the side of ORR for the construction of this new corridor. Most of the Amarprakash projects are located in closeness to ORR. Amarprakash builders reviews are provided excellent for their connectivity level. Government resources state that the land will be given to economical groups and other owners. Due to this latest scheme, around 45% of the plots or properties contributed will be retained to the owners. Further, compensation in terms of money will also be provided to the landlords by considering the original market value of the plots. This concept brings only profit to the owners since they get huge returns than what they actually about to get from their own asset. |
